OLEG Kagan was born in 1984 in Kyiv, Ukraine, immigrated to Los Angeles in 1990 and has lived there ever since. He is a poet, librarian, freelance computer consultant, and foil to a Communist Cat. He has had his work published in several magazines, most recently the UCLA undergraduate literary journal, Westwind. Other writing includes “The Black Hat,” a short play written and performed in 2005, short stories and blogging. Oleg received a B.A. in English and an M.L.I.S. (Masters of Library and Information Science) from UCLA in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Generally, Oleg enjoys reading&writing, theatre, jogging, and listening to music of all genres.
